Mr. Wittenberg has been involved in starting numerous Healthcare Real Estate platforms regionally and throughout the US. His background includes extensive experience developing national programs, robust visioning, master planning, and execution of large programs and facilities for Public, Private, Not-For-Profit, and For-Profit clients, and institutions throughout the country.
These programs have been implemented in many industries and sectors including: Healthcare, Life Science, Academic, Governmental, Mission Critical, High Technology & Mixed-Use Commercial. Uniquely, his experience crosses over Industries, Clients, Functional Operations, Building Types, and Diverse Project Goals to offer a broad perspective that offers an ability to identify best-in-class applications that can be applied to current and future complex developments. A considerable amount of his strategic work involves Ecosystem Evaluations to identify opportunities to grow communities by leveraging its resources (Workforce, Infrastructure, Intellectual Property, Economic Incentives, etc.) to attract business and industry to various locations.
Since 2008, he has run his own Real Estate Advisory, Brokerage & Investment company, Healthtrek in partnership with numerous well-respected national and regional Healthcare REITs and Healthcare Development groups. Mr. Wittenberg’s background includes a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Building Science. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for the planning, development, design, construction, and overall asset management of acquisitions and/or new development.
Mr. Wittenberg holds Real Estate Brokers Licenses in Florida, North Carolina, Alabama & West Virginia. He is on the National Board of American Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP) and leads all National Programs & Education for the organization. He is a member of numerous industry organizations including BioFlorida, ULI, REIC, ACHE, ASHE, BIO, BOMA, and various Economic Development Commissions around the country.
